Try Microsoft Download.

I don't think there is a download anywhere, but the latest MSDN is online anyhow.

alternatively, if you actually *buy* Visual C++, you get MSDN with it!

Good point - surely the original poster *owns* VC ??
However, the one that comes with VC is pretty close to useless nowadays...

All help appreciated!

::CopyFile and ::DeleteFile will do all of these. (rename = copyfile then deleteFile)

I was following an article on MSDN about the common controls and new features in them but unfortunatly, when I try to use some of the newest features (like chevrons in toolbars), the compiler basicly says that it can't find the style that I am requesting.
Do I need any updated libraries to use these new features and if so, where can I download them from???
Thanks,

Download the Platform SDK from the MSDN-Homepage.
You will find it somewhere at msdn.microsoft.com

Hi
I just read the article about how to add a deskband to the InternetExplorer.
But this is not the thing I want to do.
I just want to add a button to the IE-Toolbar (e.g. like the downloadmanager "FlashGet" does)
I want ti execute my own code when the user clicks on this button (i.e. open a diaog-box or similiar things)
How can I achieve this?
thanks in advance

Is it possible to create, open, use, close and delete a FILE in memory, without flushing to disk?
|
|
|
|

i don't think so. but if you use Windows HANDLEs (CreateFile and friends) you can use memory or file based I/O transparently.
