As I said, apart from participant reputation, the member is a whole 24 points after I up voted its question. What I consider a newbie in the forum usage.
On the other side, asking up vote to a 5 or 6 digits reputation member, I would consider it as disrespectful.

I guess the author of first message was not upset by my "fishing" since he just upvoted my answer.

When posting a new article, there is no section to write for Windows 10 or Universal Application Platform. I did mention this need a few days ago[^], but it didn't catch the eye.
Now in the article sections, there is no section for Windows 10 or Universal Application Platform. Windows Runtime, C# or other similar section won't serve well. I was going to publish a starter-guide to Windows 10 platform, but I was not able to find anything that might serve as a valid candidate so I chose Windows Runtime... But I am still requesting for a new section to be made available separately for Windows 10 or Universal Application Platform.
Thank you.

Also, the article was added under Section: Uncategorized Quick Answers. I hope this would be helpful in figuring out what went wrong.

Hi. I have just posted an article [^]. I've uploaded demo source code, but when I've tried to download it, the error occured. It says that the files uploaded are actually missing from the codeproject servers due to the "system" error. Before posting the article I've tried to download these files from the preview page, but there was no error.
Could you help me to correct this problem?

Your link just brings us back to this page. Could you please post the correct link?

Thanks. The problem is already solved. The article's page contains valid links to source demo project. Thanks a lot.

Any one should not suppose to vote his/her own articles, tips or technical blogs...As I can vote mine...

You can vote for your own content. Why shouldn't you be able to?

why should I? If so then points should not be added into your point list...

The point of a vote is to say whether something is good, or not. Do you not think your article is good? On the other side - do the points matter that much to you that you care how many you have?

Take a bow Sir...

There's nothing to apologise for. This is a common question and not something you should ever apologise about.

In that vein, would anyone actually down-vote their own article?
You can't vote for your own questions or answers in QA, so it's obviously recognised as a potential problem there. It does seem slightly odd that you can up-vote your own articles and forum messages.
