Good catch!
Initially, I thought it was just the image, but ... search both for "During the development process, developers and designers can work more independently and concurrently on their components." and "The designers can concentrate on the view, and if they are using Expression Blend, they can easily generate sample data to work with, while the developers can work on the view model and model components." and it's obvious.

That first sentence was exactly my first search, where I caught it! Spotting the image only reinforced the conclusion.

Ok, I trust in your recommendation. But it is a little bit questionable to clear a six year member without given him a second chance....

Spam is spam. And the longer he has been a member, the more he should understand that.

Yes, that is also a view
Sometimes I think members are cleared to fast. But yes, spam seems not f(member since)
Thanks for your comment.

Richard MacCutchan wrote: Spam is spam. I am not sure I agree with that. The Live Streaming, Escort Services, Movers, etc. is truly spam, but this is a development tool and there is a free edition. If this was an established product like Xamarin, we would let the article through - well, we would not really let it through since the content is too thin, but we would not flag it as spam.
Anyway, it's not like I will be kicking and screaming if our community decides this is spam. And even though the member profile is 6 years old, it has made zero posts prior to this submission, so it will not be a great loss if the account is closed.

I'd disagree - there is a free trial version, but the purpose of the article is to drum up trade and feed people to the paid version. That's OK, but ... the site runs on adverts. They pay the staff, they pay the enormous sunflower seed bills, they pay for the servers. And if we let free adverts through, that undermines the revenue stream which pays for the whole site - because why should advertisers pay Chris and co to post ads if they can get the same effect for free? Too much of that, and the site closes...

If it is a free version, fully functional (it might have less functionality, but at least what it offers works fine) and no time limitation... then I think it is ok.
If it is a free trial version... no way. Let's show them where the exit is

Well, in this case it's actually not a "free trial version", it is a "free edition". Based on the content of their/his website, I am not sure that the paid edition will ever take off.
Anyway, I think it is fair to label the Zontroy article as spam because, as you say, it is trying to drum up business by introducing the product with a link to their web site.
In my mind I was really seeing this in a different/naive way - a developer that had built a tool and wanted to show it off with a fancy web site, but took that too far by shoving the "Enterprise Edition" in there. I just don't see it as a company.

Bruno was suggesting that we accept the article as the user account had existed for ~6 years. My point was that length of membership has no bearing on what the member posts.

Fully agree on that, I am however weighing in eventual previous contributions.

Right. I agree. Especially since he had never made any other posts.
