I'm just curious. Do we report author that post the exact article/blog to CP that were written many years ago? Do CP has such a policy not to allow such a post? If not, should we think about it?

We offer people the ability to aggregate their blog, so that's fine. From there we would eliminate any entries that came in that were too outdated or inappropriate. In those cases I would simply not approve them in the queue and if they somehow make it through, mark them as extremely poor quality or inaccurate / misleading.

C# for beginners Part 3[^]
And a question... Is it allowed to use links with shorten urls that give money to the poster? (i.e. adfly)
Because this blog have them... and I am thinking on reporting it on S&A
M.D.V.
If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

No shorten URLs that give money to the poster.
Also I don't think we need another C# beginner tutorial that shows us how to make a calculator. Removed.

Wellllll I don't know about driven to the lions I usually just ask the author to remove the link or do it for them and tell them why I did it.

hi ,
I have answered couple of questions asked by others last week.
If i want to get back to those questions (of others) and what all suggestions people gave, I am finding it time consuming to search that question and see all the replies posted.
Can you please guide whats the quick way to access answered questions.
Thank You!

Go to your "My Answers" page: Member questions & answers[^]
If you hover over your name in the top-right corner, there's a link in the drop-down menu.
Alternatively, click on your name to go to your profile page[^], and click on "QA Answers" under your profile picture.

Two days ago I posted new article and get 5 comments. Why now I see only one last comment? Where is others?

If the article was in moderation, once the article passes moderation, the comments get removed. Very often the comments on articles in moderation are "improve this" or "fix that," which authors do not want to see on their final article.

Greetings for the day.
I found that when an article is approved the image URLs are in the format of [article id]/[image name] but it is as [article id]/Working/[image name] before approval. So in this case do I need to change the URL twice, I mean pre approval and post approval. If I add the format as in post approval([article id]/[image name]), the images are not displayed, thus the article is not getting approved. Am I missing anything here? Please advice, your help is really appreciated.
Thanks.

I don't remember doing it twice, actually I didn't pay attention . But, I think the system is smart enough to move all the attachment from working folder to production after approval.

Well, that is not the case for my previous article. I was forced to edit the same article after approval. For my current article as of now I had given the URL with 'Working', I will check whether it is auto changing the URL after the approval and get back to you. Thanks.

You don't need to modify the URL's. Perhaps the simplest way is to upload the image and use the button on the right hand side to add the image to the cursor location.

Thank you so much. But if you notice this article Upload Contents to Azure Container, CDN in WordPress Folder Format[^], you could find some of the images are still missing, as there is a change in URL happened after the approval. Can you please give some light on this? Thanks

Yes it is showing. But when you click on the image, it is redirecting to the old URL. So do I need to edit it from my end? Or they system will take care of this? Please advice. Thank you.

Why add them as clickable links? the a href element isn't mandatory and as far as I can see, using it brings no benefit. Personally I'd use only the img element, which actually is what the article editor adds.
So my suggestion is, using the article editor, remove the pictures from the text and then add them using add button for an image on the right hand side. This should remove the link.
...Or if you like, you can edit the HTML.

|
|
|

The article editor doesn't auto link to images, so you gotta tweak it manually. But don't worry, I did it for you.

My article was marked as copy and then my 11 years old account closed in a glimpse.
