Search both for "Using FCM, you can notify a client app that new email or other data is available to sync. You can send notification messages to drive user reengagement and retention. For use cases such as instant messaging, a message can transfer a payload of up to 4KB to a client app."
And this: "An FCM implementation includes two main components for sending and receiving:"
And ... oh, you get the idea ...

Ten days ago, Adityakumar2318[^] asked a question[^], which was promptly answered by Kornfeld Eliyahu Peter.
Today, he decided to resurrect this already answered question from 2013[^] by posting two separate answers to it. One has already been removed. The surviving answer is a verbatim copy of KEP's answer.
EDIT: Answer is now gone. Don't report the question!

This (apart from being hardly there at all): Real-Time Communications with SignalR[^]
From this: Amit Srivastava - Professional Profile[^]
Is at least partially copied (not that there is much there to have copied) from this CP article: Introduction to SignalR[^]
Search both for "The Persistent Connection API gives developer direct access to the low level communication protocol that SignalR exposes. This API uses the format of the actual message sent that needs to be specified and if the developer prefers to work with messaging and dispatching model rather than a remote invocation."
