It seems that every day this week when I pop in to see what's going on, every post in every group is tagged NEW even when I saw all of them the day before. Don't really know if it's a bug but I wanted to mention it.

Might be a problem with cookies or blocked scripts.
Have you any active blockers?

While I do run NoScript for Firefox, the only scripts not being allowed on this site are for Google Analytics.
AdBlock Plus seems to be blocking one script: cdn2.developermedia.com/a.min.js
The NEW tags on all the posts do disappear shortly after logging in and then consistently identify new posts correctly.

Check out my suggestion[^] from ages ago. At least it made it to the TODO list

Not only that... it is on the "open points" list of the right frame of this forum

Yep. It's been sitting at the bottom of that list for 20 months now.

And that's to go whereever the main menu ("disscusion", for example) item takes you. So I don't know if "bugs/suggestions" really exists unless I scroll down and find it where I think it is.
Because the drop-down DOES show me that it could be down there somewhere, I'll do the above if warranted. But this is like not knowing neli is four! Even IE8 allows me to right-click and capture a drop-down (line) to use a mouse on it to get to it's page.
Granted, firefox has only been nagging me for a couple of months to upgrade from 53.4 so it might be me ... but ... nothing; the menu never freezes, is never captured by mouseover, no nothing.

Which version of firefox are you using?
It's very, very hard to try and cater to all versions, especially when they change so often, when they have occasional bugs, and when third party libraries (eg jQuery) drop support for older versions.
Try upgrading and let me know if the issue persists.

Ok,
Next time it asks ...

A bit more info: On FF 52.2.0 (Vista ), it happens to me, generally not on initial load, but after I've been cruising the page for a bit. If I am really quick with the mouse jumping from the hover that calls up the dropdown to the body of the dropdown, it works; if I'm normal speed or slow, the dropdown vanishes before I get there. (Took me a while to figure out the workaround.)
FF 54.0 (Win7) is fine.
Cheers, Peter

Just tried to share a link to a PDF file in the Lounge. Looks like the website tries to fetch it to generate the nice title when you paste, and somehow never returns. Might be due to the files' size, but would be nice to have the option to paste the link as-is.

At the moment adding an active link to profile description is prohibited until certain member level.
However anyone can add a home page link so this serves the same purpose as an active link. This feature probably makes it tempting to create spam profiles.
So the suggestion is, adding the home page should not be possible until the member has earned enough points. I believe that a quick fix would be just not to show the home page button until a reasonable member level is reached, regardless if the home page is entered in the profile.

Has this been undone, or has the minimum level just been set too low?
For example, this spammer[^] has 353 points, and is showing both a home-page link and a biography.
And this one[^], on 104 points.

There is no bug in your screen-shot. What you've typed is not a valid HTML tag, so it needs to be encoded.
And you can't insert images in forum posts or questions; you can only link to them.
