If two people sit in a car and five get out, how many must get back into the car so that it is empty?
Seriously, as new undead CP member I'm not concerned so much about reputation points, but subtracting 200 points for not wanting four newsletters (each worth 50 points I never received) has put me under scrutiny as a spammer and that's a little annoying.

It's not a maths problem, it's a bug.
I'm on it. (and apologies)

No problem. The logic behind keeping an eye on new users that drop below 100 reputation points is understandable.
Meanwhile I hopefully will find ways to get over the minimum 100 reputation points and then I will be off the hook again.

Looks like you're already there.
Unfortunately spam means the internet has become like airport security: a fraction of a tiny fraction make life annoying for pretty much everyone.

It has never been different, not even when we still lived in caves. There are always a few who are the reason for 90% of the rules, laws, taboos, commandments (or whatever the regulations are called).

Is that the most passive aggressive bug report you ever got?

Nah, I just wanted to avoid a boring bug report or whining about reputation points.

Hi,
It doesn't appear that the QA filter, setup in my account settings, takes effect when I go to QA. Up until a few days ago it worked OK, I must be missing something.
Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)
Win 10 Pro Version 10.0.14393
Thanks

Have you changed any of the selectors on the home page, as that will affect it?

Interesting thought, I haven't changed anything purposefully. Just took a gander at the site filters on the home page and indeed they're set correctly.

QA filters no longer auto-populate. I'm going to reinstate this but it was done to help us with a new system we're integrating. Sorry for the annoyance.

No problem.
You've got a great site here by the way.

Hi,
I would like to kindly suggest you to fix the bug which refers to your contact form and the pick list with the country names.
When a member who is from Montenegro pick this country in a contact form, this country does not appear in the profile but the wrong country name - Yugoslavia. Montenegro used to be a part of Yugoslavia but since 2006 is independent. So you should synchronize the pick list with country names with what is seen in the profile.
Thanks,
|

Not that wiki is the reference over all but maybe in this case it helps to Speed up the update.

Hey Lazar,
Is Montenegro your current country and do I have permission to change your profile to "Montenegro" to test our system using your account?

Has the hamster in charge of sorting the Insider News forum been at the fermented seeds again?
At the moment, the top posts on the first page are in the following order:
- 15 hours 44 minutes ago;
- 4 × 7 hours 3 minutes ago;
- 23-Jun-17 22:28
- 6 × 7 hours 3 minutes ago;
- 23-Jun-17 1:47
- (The rest seem to be in the correct order.)

Seems good now.
I wonder if you were on server #4. We've been testing a new redis server so it may have had data from the wrong server.

A few posts are still showing out-of-sequence for me.
- 20hrs 37mins ago: Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, and YouTube launch anti-terrorism partnership
- 11hrs 13mins ago: The Elgin rectangle: why couldn't people lock their cars in Carlton?
- 25-Jun-17 20:19: Google on track for quantum computer breakthrough by end of 2017
- 26-Jun-17 5:00: Codeshapes

- 26-Jun-17 5:00: TEO the robot shows off ironing skills
- 23-Jun-17 22:28: 32TB of Windows 10 internal builds, core source code leak online
- 26-Jun-17 5:00: How GitHub employees use GitHub for projects beyond coding
It seems to be OK after that.
Strangely, the message IDs seem to be in the right sequence. Have some of the dates been changed after posting?
