just above the "Revert to last published" button
I see checkbox "Work in progress: don't publish". Nothing else.
I can send you screenshot if needed.

I have such a button for my articles.
Maybe it depends on the reputation but I don't see a reason why it should not be there.
Then you have to wait for Sean entering the site in a few hours.
BTW: Why is the date so important for you?
If you are updating your article frequently it would be much better to provide a history section at the end of the article. So readers can see what has changed and when.

The date is important for me, because if article has an old date it isn't shown in "latest tip/tricks", so readers will not to view it.
I'd like to get feedback from readers.
Thanks for your assistance anyway.

I hope you will not edit your article frequently to get it pushed to the latest list. That would be abuse.
Most users will find your article by searching and not by visiting that list.
Feedback usually depends on the quality of the article. Be prepared that a good article gets only a few comments while a not so good one gets more.

Of course, no.
I don't make updates just only to push my article to the latest list.
Latest update was related to code changes.
I think it was essential improvement of my code.
But why don't use update to push up the article in that case?

I think it was essential improvement of my code. You know that but a reader would not. If you have a history section as already suggested old readers will know immediately what has changed and new readers will see that you work on it. From my point of view that is much more important than a precise date on top (the history will then contain the exact date).

There was an editor note on your article that said "I just removed one empty line" so I didn't mark the post as updated. Looking at the revision history I can see there were a lot of changes. I have now marked it as updated.

Thanks!
Of course, before deleting the empty line a lot of changes were made in code.
I know that there is checkbox "Mark as update".
However I don't see that when editing.
My reputation doesn't allow me to see that?

I believe there is currently a bug that prevents all members from seeing this box, which is why we have so many updates, and why I try to manually prevent updates when I can (like in this situation).

Hello,
I just posted the article: Are Using Bitwise Operators for Table Joins Really Taboo?[^] and most of the links are not resolving. Only one image is showing and clicking the file download link returns the error:
KB/database/1196384/Birthday_Party_Inc.zip appears to be missing on our servers. D'oh.
Ideas?

The submission wizard has good days and it has bad days. Must be a bad day. Can you please email me your images and files (in a renamed .zip file or .rar file) and I will try and get it sorted.
Thanks,

Hi,
Just posted the article and attached the download project, not able to browse the code and when I am trying to download it, getting the following error message:
/KB/scripting/1195569/angular4datagrid.zip appears to be missing on our servers. D'oh.

We were updating the site at the time, so the file likely lost its way. I am now able to download the file from the article OK.
Thanks,

@Sean-Ewington
Sean, there is a blog in the queue: Memory Usage Inside the CLR[^] - it's images are all missing, and the code blocks are ... um ... rather yellow. I can't inform the author - it's a blog, and we can't comment until it's approved - could you have a look and help him out a bit?
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I de-yellow.

according to Member Reputation System page
Post article (A member receives points for posting a new article) = 100 points
I didn't get them after posting my latest article. The first record about it in the Latest Reputation Events table is "Edit Article"
Article Id: 1195543
Is something wrong with it? Can they be restored? With less than 2.5k Writer points 100 poinst make a difference

Probably best to raise this question in Bugs and Suggestions since that forum is closely monitored by the staff.

Well, it is not a pressing matter and certainly not a suggestion. Can't say if it can be classified as bug

Hi,
I'm just finishing writing up an article on Azure cloud services that I am planning on uploading to the site.
Once I have finished writing it and before I publish would someone be willing to have a read of it to check that it makes sense and give some feedback before I publish to make sure it is at least semi decant?
Thanks
Michael

Usually that's what the process of moderation / approval stands for
But yes, there are users willing to help new authors (called / identified as "mentors"), you will recognize them thanks their badge near the nickname (mine is protector).
Edit: Forgot to say that the named users are mentors

There are a group of regular volunteers here called mentors - don't rely on the regular moderation program as people there can be a bit trigger happy and will either reject or approve your article without giving you the help you need. If you leave your article in pending state, reach out to @sean-ewington here at Code Project and he will reach out to the mentors asking if someone would mind offering you help and guidance. You can reach him at sean dot ewington at codeproject dot com.
