I've heard that can happen when you get your name abruptly decremented :p

It was not decrement, it was directly 0x01AA & 0x0000
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

I have been sent a private message
Message from Marama White <mercylife79@yahoo.com>: i am see your profile today at www.codeproject.com
is gives me more joy and happy to contact you, please i will like you
to email me[maramawhite20@gmail.com]
I wanted to report him, but I haven't found the way to get to the profile user.
Which brings me to two things:
1) Question: How might I find the user "marama white"?
I have tried to search the site with [author: "marama white"] but it looks like he/she is only sending private messages, search results are empty
I have tried to find the user in the Who is who, but I gave up after browsing a considerable number of pages without finding him
2) Suggestions:
- Make the user name in the notifications clickable, so you can go to who is writing you
- Make the in site search of just a username possible
By the way... if you want to nuke him / her... you are welcome

Hi,
Are we going full 'social media' with 'Number of Followers' on the profile page? I am asking because I actually assumed this and checked @chris-maunder[^] profile looking for how many were following.
Best Wishes,

I'm not that interesting so I'm sure I'd get a low number
I'm not sure about the "number of followers". I'm a data geek so I love numbers - any numbers - but I'm not convinced it adds enough to justify the cost at this point. If it's requested then sure.

I went and checked your profile thinking you actually added a feature to show follower counts. And noticed you had awarded yourself 2005 CodeProject MVP. That should be top line in your resume.

Very annoying, to say the least. My suggestion: please make it stop - the reply notifications, that is.
Thank you.

Go to my blog and just above it you'll see an Email Notifications bar. Hover over it and you'll get options on when and how often you get notifications.

Take What are the advantages of a luxuryxs hearing aid?[^] as an example. If I was one of the first three to report it, then I'd presumably see the shield so I could proceed to administer a kick to the perpetrator. But, as a Johnny-come-lately, I can't contribute to the (I assume) ten kicks required to complete the extermination.
Or am I totally confuzzled as to how it all works now?
Cheers,
Peter

That's an excellent point.
If the item is closed and the member not, then that leaves the member open to mischief.
I'll add a link to profiles if that member has been reported.

Dear CP Team
I know I know, I am a tedious/irritating/cumbersome (there are at least ten more in LEO...), strange customer.
Nonetheless, a request: Please give me 0x01AA back. Many Thanks.

BTW: Is CPa drug and should be under medical supervision?
