If it's your website, then you need to fix your code.
If it's not your website, then you need to contact the owners of the site, and tell them to fix their code.
NB: We can't tell you how to fix the code, because we can't see the code.

What would be a better design for CRUD pagination.
1: Send the Page and Show to the controller and just grab the records needed.
Get the record count first so I have a total, then get the records
2: Get all the records, send them down and use the client to take the ones I need.
Since I have all the records, I can get a count.
3: Or change my model, so I have a column for count, and then shift the records to an array for 1 single call.

In most LOB (WPF) applications I have built the number of records is quite limited <1000 usually. So I get the entire data set.
When doing web apps I treat the UI the same as a desktop app IE you can scroll horizontally in a grid but the vertical is a fixed size and the user scrolls WITHIN the grid, never using pagination but implementing filtering.
I know this is anathema to most web developers but I find it much easier to use and control the grid.

I get what your saying.
I have cards or square tiles, 4 across for large displays, 1 for cell phones and a pagination of buttons at the bottom.
I ended up creating a new model with count and an array of records, choosing to create a specific query for skip and take.
It's pretty fast still and just one call for data.
I suppose the question boils down to preference.

The data tables is very nice. That's slick.
I was going to use a NPM package for Angular. Then I ran across this article called pagination made easy.
Ended up writing a component from almost scratch. Then I got to the controller / back end part and questioned myself.
It wasn't easy at all.

Hi, can anyone tell me what is cell padding, and cell spacing?
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cell padding is so you don't injure yourself, cell spacing is so you can't hear the other inmates.
In other words: padding is space inside the cell, spacing is between the cells.
|
|
|
|
|
cell padding : which specifies the space between cells is called cell padding
cell spacing : controls the space between table cells. Although there is no official default,
browsers usually use a default of 2.
|
|
|
|
|
The cell padding is used to define the spaces between the cells and its border. If cell padding property is not apply then it will be set as default value. The cell spacing is used to define the space between the cells.

hello can someone help me to add a cache for this query or for a way to optimize it by avoiding the use of SELECT * FROM information_schema to improve the performance of this query
SELECT * FROM information_schema.key_column_usage AS kcu
INNER JOIN information_schema.referential_constraints AS rc
ON ( kcu.constraint_name = rc.constraint_name
AND kcu.constraint_schema = rc.constraint_schema )
WHERE kcu.table_schema = 'joseph79_tiny'
AND kcu.table_name = 'options'
AND rc.table_name = 'options'
SELECT * FROM information_schema.key_column_usage AS kcu
INNER JOIN information_schema.referential_constraints AS rc
ON (
kcu.constraint_name = rc.constraint_name
AND kcu.constraint_schema = rc.constraint_schema ) wh ere kcu.table_schema = 'joseph79_tiny'
AND kcu.table_name = 'links'
AND rc.table_name = 'links'
|
|
|
|
|
Add another join condition
and kcu.tablename = rc.tablename
and remove the last line of the filters
Also Select * from ... is not your problem other than you are getting all fields from both tables

Hello,
I am currently creating a website in the trial mode of squarespace. I had some trouble doing the things I wanted to do just using the squarespace templates, so I resorted to codes. I do not know much about codes and what I have got done so far is from researching online.
Basically what I have so far is an image with 4 icon images on top of it. (in code) I want to make it so when you hover over each of the of the icons a box from the left slides in and has text information regarding that icon. I want it to slide in from the left of the whole page, not just the picture these 4 icons are on. I cannot for the life of me figure this out.
Below is currently what I have done to create a picture with 4 images and some text on top. I have tried for 2 days to figure out where to ad in the overlay/hover "stuff" but it hasn't worked. I was up till 2 am last night trying different things. If someone could help would be greatly appreciated. Hope this all makes sense. P.S. I don't have any code in here for overlay/hover as it was not working. ANd I am using the Moshka template.

Sorry, this site does not provide code to order. Especially not code that tries to breach security.
