Well, they can't/won't fix it, so let's go with option #2

In an attempt to correct many perceived deficiencies in Entity Framework Core, Microsoft is introducing 40 breaking changes to EF Core 3. If it ain't fixed, break it

Never before, in the history of microsoft products, has the term "breaking changes" been more appropriate, in all the wrong ways.

Microsoft and Oracle announced a new alliance today that will see the two companies directly connect their clouds over a direct network connection so that their users can then move workloads and data seamlessly between the two. "Dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!"

I didn't see anything about prices, mostly just being able to move data and authentication. I suspect both have very large customers that want to put some of their data on Oracle's service (which is really expensive, but does seem fast) and the rest on Azure. Oracle's cloud share is minuscule and both together are still dwarfed by Amazon. (Now if any of the non-Amazon companies team up with Amazon....)

Sheesh.

Roll on the improvements in 3D animation, so that "actors" will have to get proper jobs, like the rest of us -- they'll go back to bussing tables, probably, which is all most of them are good for.
