Ashutosh Gpta[^] and Rajeev Panday[^]
The former has been kicked for plagiarism earlier this week and the latter, presenting himself as his roommate, tried to speak in his favour.
But reading OP's comment to the answer of the second (solution 2) of How to dynamically add XML elements to XML files keeping the same format using linq to XML C#[^], the sock-puppetry is now kind of blattant. Should we let him persist in his schyzophrenia?
The first account is on the way to be flagged again anyway, since he reposted some material which was questionable in the first place.

Changing Console Text & Background Color[^]
With regards to the article mentioned above, I feel that in addition to C++, it would be good to have C# sample as well as C# is more relevant. Would like to know what others feel about this article...
|
|
|
|
|
I feel that the article would fit better as a Tip.
I don't see what language choice has to do with the moderation of an article, though. If an author chooses to write their article/tip in C++ then it's exactly that, a C++ article/tip. It should not be held back just because it's not your language of choice or because another language is more "relevant".

Agree, thanks for your thoughts on both points, this being better as a Tip than an article and the point regarding language.

Why GuiLite is the Simplest GUI Library?[^]
This is what you typically see on a website for a software product - a sales brochure, and not much more.
I can't believe it was approved.

Yep - we're actively working on this. It's a continuation of what those guys have been doing for the last few weeks. Looks like they have up'd the ante and intent on wasting our time.

Article : C Program for Strassen's Matrix Multiplication of Any Order (Power of 2)[^]
This article is horrible. It is very little more than a header file dump. It has no discussion of the implementation or examples of use or anything else that would be helpful.
I can't believe it was approved. I would have voted against it if I had seen it before.

The #1 Rule of Cryptography[^]
This guy has been writing a series of blog posts and I think this one was mis-categorized. It is way too short to be an article so I think it should be another of his blog posts.

I see the classic review need message in the homepage (box on the right with article/tips list), but there is no link to the pages, just the name of the user which "posted" the article.
Seems like a bug of some sort for me... anyone else?

SQL Server Brute Force Attack Detection[^]
In the third paragraph, the text "... paid software solutions exists ..." is a link to a commercial product. Seems like it would qualify as spam, but the rest of the article looks useful.
Maybe one for @Sean-Ewington to judge?
Edit: The user has removed the link: SQL Server Brute Force Attack Detection[^]

Maybe @sean-ewington can have a word with him. It is a long time member with many articles so I decided to post it here.
In the C++ Tip: Erase-remove Idiom Revisited[^] he cited from the C++17 STL Cookbook without proper indication:
Quote: Deleting items from somewhere in the middle of an std::vector takes O(n) time. This is because the resulting gap from removing an item must be filled by moving all the items which come after the gap one slot to the back.
While moving items around like this, which might be expensive if they are complex and/or very large and include many items, we preserve their order. If preserving the order is not important, we can optimize this, as this section shows. That is followed by naming the author and the source:
Quote: Jacek Galowicz, author of C++17 STL Cookbook propose his quick_remove_at function for removing elements from std::vector by moving the last element to removed position. But the citing is not indicated and from reading it is not clear that it is a citation.
