I read several helpfull publications from the author.
Now, I clicked for moderation and see "two votes: Spam". First I thought what the hell, why?
On the other hand I read through the Blog and it has a link to the author's youtube channel.
Pushing a youtube channel I think is not allowed... ?
How to handle this?
Btw: I didn't take any action at this moment
Thanks in advance.

My personal feeling is that for blogs, that's not really a problem - but I guess this needs to be "bucked upstairs".

Thanks for reply. Reading it more carefully there are more links e.g. Home - Essential SQL[^]

That's why I tend to think more leniently for blogs - they are feeds rather than created specially for CP publication, so they do tend to contain links to the rest of a users blog site.

Not sure, but I recall this isn't the first time we're discussing the same author.
Either way, I went for format/layout issues since all the blogs contain badly formatted code blocks, even the approved ones.

But I think this is more a CP problem importing blogs in a good condition... what I remember. That's why I never report "format/layout issues" for blogs. Maybe I'm wrong on that

You're probably right about import problems.
Not sure how we should handle those though. If we report them, they see no daylight, if we approve them, bad formatting doesn't get fixed...

How many years can you be around and still be a newbie?

I've seen some blogs coming first as badly formatted (you know, those bright yellow code-blocks), and coming back properly formatted on further submissions. So reporting as badly formatted seems to play its role.

Let's just say moving forward, if you see blog entries with links on them to their blog or other social media like YouTube, just let me know and I'll remove them and speak to the author. If it's a repeat offender, please do the same. In some cases (like this guy) they're worth keeping around even if they simply don't care to edit their entries as they come in.
Thanks,

I have doubts about the last one. IIRC it suddenly appeared in the list out of the blue.
