Some of our processes are in background tasks, or use the Search Servers. Because of this, there may be a delay of many minutes between a message being closed/deleted and the Forum's message list being updated.
It seems to be correct now.

Like the Soapbox, the GIT forum was becoming a cesspool of inappropriate abuse, and has been closed.

While it is perfectly justifiable to prevent misuse of this platform, it would be nice if the same is conveyed by a post in that forum. Of course if you don't give a damn then also its fine for me.

The Soapbox was warned, warned again, and then told "this closes on such-and-such-a-date".
I would suspect that the admins did exactly the same with GIT.

What I do is upload the image file then simply drag it on to the article, change the width and height to be 640 width and autoscale height.
However after publishing, links are broken. Fixing the links to the URLs of the uploaded images causes width to become 0. Fix the width by reviewing the article, links are broken again.
Example is: https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/5255510/Analysis-Service-MDX-Query-Viewer-web-client
Can't seem to get the first image to appear properly. Width or link breaks everytime I update.

damn, just refreshed and it now working... Anyway question remains the same, what is the correct way to insert images in draft and make sure they remain unbroken once published?

Drag the images into the "Upload files" box on the right, and then you can use the small arrows at the left of the file name to insert them into the article where your cursor is.
Over the next few weeks we'll be updating our editor so you can drag files directly onto the article itself.

Regarding size, I much prefer to resize the images to the appropriate size BEFORE uploading them. Why? Because I can also crop the image and then control the quality of the resizing...

This morning, I had to refresh the page a couple dozen times before it displayed any data.
Maybe your database timeouts need to be increased?

Was this a failure of the graph to display or this list of events not dispaying?

This was the list of reputation events. It always does this (to me). It doesn't display anything, even a message saying the query timed out. After 5-30 refreshes, it works.

Thanks.
I believe that it is you, along with a few other have a massive amount of Reputation events.
I'll take a look to see if I can do anything about that.

That's not the issue here.
We do filter out by date.
Unfortunately, another column we are filtering on is not part of the index resulting an a lot of lookup of the records.
We'll fix this in the near future. Its messy creating/rebuilding giant indexes.
Thanks for your help.

I woke up this morning with 2000 more points than I had yesterday.
I checked my reputation history, and for 12/31, I have two entries for MVP points.
Please don't feel like you have to adjust it for me, but please make sure everyone else only has one MVP points award.
