These are my thoughts, based on my own experience, on what monitors work best for programming. "Because you're worth it"

Pretty nice blog... I had never thought of some of those aspects.
Interesting read. Thanks

Now that I have fully functional keyboards at home and in the office; I am looking at monitors for the home... probably going with 27-31 inch range and probably going with 1440.
A good thing to now that a line of code can be 100 characters wide

Maybe not..
Maybe it's just Scotty using quantum Leptons ray?!

Our Developer Ecosystem Survey, which JetBrains runs yearly, aims to reveal the current ambience of the developer world. Today we are happy to share with you the results of the 2020 edition of this survey, focusing on C#. For those that see sharp(ly)
Yeah, I posted the full survey last week, but I figured some might be interested in the drilldown.

Unfortunately, a good deal of IT time is spent firefighting, survey shows. DevOps to the rescue? So if we don't put in any bugs, we get a three day weekend?

I've spent the last four weeks proving a problem wasn't our software, and then helping the enti8ty responsible to fix their crap. Today starts week five.
I bet that blows their statistics out of the freakin' water...

And to be honest... a well deserved one and not only for oracle, other companies deserve it as well.
If what was told is true... there was a lot of data inside that database that is just not needed to do good marketing or better publicity.
This is getting way too far.
I know there are ways to reduce it, but the typical "if you don't protect yourself, is your own fault" is not the correct answer.

Humans are social creatures. A huge downside of working remotely is that you don't make the social impressions that keep you from getting laid off. When you're just a face in Zoom, getting rid of you is relatively easy, emotionally.

Let’s reflect on what we need to do in our jobs as software developers to identify what is important–and therefore what we have to master in order to become “good developers”. They write articles about their great code (hint, hint)
