I am not able to recreate this issue. Having said that, I have seen this happen some time ago.

I have found another doubled user with the same symptomatic as previously
different Member ID (1 unit offset)
same user name
same summon name
only way to visit the different profiles is to use the URL https://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=XXXX

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Here's one I haven't seen - or perhaps noticed - before.
I just powered up the desktop, and noticed that the QA "Interested" list had set itself again:
Then I thought "Hang on - didn't it look like that on the Surface?"
Yes ... yes it did. (I'd been using the Surface to report spam while I had breakfast).
Since they both changed to the same set of tags, cookies can probably be discarded as a cause - hopefully that helps?
Both are Win10, 2004 Build 19041.572, Chrome Version 86.0.4240.75 for the desktop, 1909 Build 18363.1082, Chrome Version 86.0.4240.75 for the Surface.

Same thing happened to me yesterday.

It's continuing to happen to me too. FF 81.0 / Ubuntu 20.04. It went quiet for a while, back with a vengeance the last week or so. It's getting a bit more creative in the randoms it thinks I'm interested in. And yes, when it hits me, it's been across all my logged in devices whenever I looked.
Cheers,

I pretty sure I know the answer, but:
Did you click on any of the category links on the homepage (C#, .NET, AI etc)?

In my article "The Spiral Trackbar Control", when I view Stats, the Downloads plot seems broken. The Y axis has multiple sets of two values "0:00" and "12:00". I expect multiple sets of bars, but there was only flat lines.
The Stats data for my other articles look reasonable.
I recently updated the article, and (unwisely?) deleted the old downloads. Might this be a clue?

Take a look now. Is there still an issue?

Alas, it has not changed. I'm looking at it now, and the X axis labels are "12:00", "00:00", "12:00", ... , "00:00", "12:00".
Also, there is one set of bars which span the entire width of the plot.
|
|
|
|
|
There has been some progress - the X axis labels make sense. They are currently 09-Oct-20 to 22-Oct-20.
But now the plotted values make no sense. There is one set of bars for the seven dates 09-Oct-20 to 15-Oct-20, and then one set of bars for the seven dates 16-Oct-20 to 22-Oct20:

The downloads are displayed for each week, not day. You are seeing the individual dates on the X-axis due to the short period of time that stats have been collected for the article. If you hover over the graph you should see the information for the week. Note the date in the popup for each date, only the week.
This will clear up as time passes and there is a larger range for the X-Axis

Try opening a new browser window. You're email has been confirmed so you should be good to go.
Are you using any ad blocking software such as uBlock or AdBlock Plus?
cheers

There was a message in the moderation queue an hour or so ago. It looked valid and so I (think I) clicked the accept icon. However, I cannot see it in QA which is where I think it was destined. Maybe I missed and clicked the red X. Is there any way someone can trace it and restore it?

Sorry Matthew I did not make any notes. It was a rather general question about learning some new product. Perhaps he will repost it.

That's not the way it should work. Looking into it.

You are correct. I thought it was a database persistence issue, but obviously not.
I'll dig in again.
