Absolutely right. Not only that, the original author has published a lot on this site.

Matt ... that's a Site Sponsor ... I think closing his account has to be an internal decision for CP Hamsters rather than us peons.
The article itself should pretty definitely go, it's copy'n'paste without the original advertising so solid plagiarism.

I am suspicious of this account. It has a yandem email address, so may be fake.
Just joined yesterday. Possibly a setup for spam later.
Maybe we should ask The original author

Is GrapeCity a sponsor? (I've never heard of them before.)

Based on LinkedIn profile, he is a product manager at GrapeCity. So mostly the query here is whether the original author is involved in this or not.

It's actually OK. I will put a link that says, "this article was originally published on"

Hello Dear CP.
I would contact with some one from Administration of this web Portal whatever.
My Account was blocked (not this one that i make this post)
Hi DEV XXXXXX (XXXXXXXXXX),
6 times members have reported your account at CodeProject as "Content has been posted that is spam". Unfortunately this means your account is now deactivated.
what the hell so now we cant post any answer because some lazy and stupid ignorant and arrogant kids cant do something and they expect that we will post our full work. WTF is that
you even don't give me any prove that this 6 post are spam and looks like some one don't know how spam looks.
Thank you for blocked my old Account LOL
(now probably even this account will be blocked)

Without knowing which account was closed as spammy, nobody can help you: we close dozens of spam accounts each day and while we do make mistakes from time to time we are pretty careful to be as sure as we can be that they are spammer accounts.
Perhaps if you tell us what the username was on the closed account, we can check and see why it was reported - but without that, there is nothing we can do.
By the way ... getting angry with everybody on this site because your account looked spammy and was closed isn't going to help you - you are brushing the edges of being abusive with this post, and getting any closer will definitely get this account shut down as well.
Try to be polite, none of us have (knowingly) been unpleasant to you!

OK, that was three days ago, and you posted a message that was just a link to a "random youtube video" that didn't appear to be related to the question, which got caught by the automated systems and a human asked for his opinion.
I'd have agreed - that looks spammy, and I would have reported you as well if I'd been the one to see it.
We get a lot of very similar material that is spam every day ... and most of us aren't going to follow "spammy" links to see exactly what is on the other end as that's doing the spammers work for them.
What I'd suggest is that you take this as a learning exercise: don't just post links - they will always be suspect and YouTube is so full of rubbish that any link you post is likely to be unhelpful anyway. Always answer a question in text, with (if vital) links added to back it up, and stick to "fresh questions" instead of those with existing answers or which are "old".
