I am terribly terribly sorry Megan. I never thought in that direction, I mean I've never ever seen a girl ask for a girl-tshirt here. My sister, my female cousins, my lady friends etc... have all worn tshirts that were uhm gender-neutral or so I imagined anyway. I realize now that I've only seen them wear tshirts and have never actually observed the process of them buying one
I am still confused as to the actual difference in implementation of the girl version, or even as to the reasons for this requirement, specially when you consider than most of my tshirts are quite loose fitting ones; but I feel too embarassed to ask it here. Maybe I'll ask my girl friend later this week, though she is not much of a tshirt wearer except at home

To be honest Nish I wear mainly guy T-Shirts (poor Brendan's cupboard get's raided often), especially for gym / running. But when going out to a sort of smart / casual type affair (eg. a pub with friends) it's nice to have a girl shirt on just to look that bit less geeky and akward than I normally do
Girl t-shirts are usually shorter, coming to just below the waist, and tapered in around the stomach. Actually, the junior shirt on CP is a very good example, and seems a strange design for teenage guys to wear. Unfortunately looking at the sizes it also looks like it's a little small. While I do like to look female, I have no interest in wearing really tight clothing. For that reason I like the tapered shirts designed for girls, but usually buy a size or two too big, so that I feel relaxed and avoid having guys staring at things other than my eyes when talking to me

I also know a lot of girls - including my ex - who like to take a XXL shirt and wear it with a belt around the middle. This style is typically employed by shorter girls and the shirt goes down to at least mid-hip.

Womens T's usually have shorter sleeves and are tapered at the waist since (usually) women have narrow waists than guys. They are also worn tighter than guys shirts, which is All Good.
