I’ve just learnt the hard way that the most important coding habits are not readability, consistency, organisation or any of the things that make our code better. Brings more meaning to the term: "back end developer"

Security researchers at Palo Alto Networks have discovered a new peer-to-peer (P2P) worm, dubbed P2PInfect, that is built on Rust, and the malware affects both Windows and as well as Linux-based Redis (Remote Dictionary Server) servers. But on the bright side: the malware is memory safe

The company has teamed up with OWO to release an Assassin's Creed Mirage edition haptic feedback shirt. Put it on and you'll feel parkour, impacts and "exclusive sensations never felt before" — yes, really.

When you have lots of tabs open in Visual Studio, your horizontal screen resolution determines how many will fit the Tab Well. You can't have too many tabs open in VS

Huh. I often have 30-50 tabs open (because I disabled that gawd-awful feature that creates a temporary tab) and I pin tabs that are related to stuff I'm currently working on, and occasionally I just clean-slate the whole mess.
Now, the key thing is, I hardly ever click on a tab. I know where, with Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab, I need to go in the set of files I'm working on. Oh, and I also remapped those keys so they don't bring up the time-wasting dialog of open tabs - I just want to cruise through the file tabs!
So frankly, if the tab bar were removed all together and it just had a list of files I have opened hidden in the background, I'd be quite happy.
But I'm weird. My fellow programmers have often commented how I hardly ever touch the mouse in VS. I cringe when I see a "seasoned" developer use the mouse for Build => Build Solution or Debug => Start Debugging / Start Without Debugging. Learn the shortcuts or create your own! It may only take 2 more seconds to use the mouse, but those two seconds add up over a year!

I'm the same way, especially when they are trying to copy and paste text. I will say though, that in Sql Studio the Ctrl-Tab and Crtl-Shift-Tab don't always work the way I would expect. I need to find the shortcut for VS Code to switch between the many repositories I have open. Challenge, it's a Mac.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.
I’m begging you for the benefit of everyone, don’t be STUPID.
