The two worlds of Excel and Python are colliding thanks to Microsoft’s new integration to boost data analysis and visualizations. They were running low on vulnerabilities
The nice thing about that blurb is it works in both directions!

Clearly they did not learn from adding scripting a few decades ago. This smells like someone or a few coders in Microsoft got together over pizza and beer and pounded it out. Then the marketing manager saw it....

We’ve heard your feedback and are excited to introduce a new compare feature in Visual Studio. This feature enables you to compare code files directly within the Solution Explorer, eliminating the need for external tools and keeping you in your developer flow. One of these files is not like the other

The only time I need to compare files in VS is comparing the edited version to the latest commit to remember what I changed. For everything else I use WinMerge.

A couple of years ago I saw a bar / coffee shop that had a signal outside.
"This place has no WiFi, talk to each other."
I wasn't thirsty, but I couldn't resist to sit down and order something.
Sadly, there now are almost noone without flat rate in data.

Yeah, there was a really good coffee shop like that in Redmond. One of the few things I miss from there.

Yeah, well, at least for work, I cringe at the idea of losing my phone. TFA, Google Authenticator, Email verification, I wouldn't be able to fill in my time card, let alone connect to our servers, without a phone.

How does the idea of an IDE change in a world with AI? DIE? DEI? Oh wait, that's reordered, not reimagined
I love the fact that the IDEs he uses as examples are text editors (with the possible exception of VS Code). Only through the addition of various plugins would I consider them IDEs (your opinion may vary)

We believe that to be a true multi-platform toolkit that enables greater third-party collaboration, MRTK needs to be recognized as an independent organization that expands beyond Microsoft’s sole jurisdiction. That’s why we have moved MRTK3 Open-Source Software (OSS) outside of Microsoft into its own independent organization within GitHub. Yuup, so this is mostly symbolic I think. But it can't be great news if they want to detach themselves from the Microsoft name.
