I already have 2 mounting arms (for my current displays) (so no money impact here).

I use extensively Win key and arrows, always... in two monitors configuration you have the same behavior but with two monitors so you can arrange the windows in the same way but in two monitors (this is what I would miss more with only one monitor)

i.e. I can press windows + Up in both displays and have two applications maximized...

Same can be applied to the way windows 11 handles the drag + choose where to place the window.

Everything else is a win for a big single monitor.

But truly, something with USB C that would work with my current laptop, with DQHD resolution, wide enough to replace two 27" QHD monitors, IPS, that would be able to act as two physical displays sometimes, with a USB + Ethernet hub... I don't know if that exists at a reasonable price tag...
