But you need to include the link to the member: Ellilou . - Professional Profile[^] or he won't get kicked off, and make sure that it's clear you didn't mean the article he responded to was not the spam - once the message is kicked the link will revert to just the article and it's pretty easy for people to assume the wrong thing and kick that!

Just in case... other things that we use to do here in this forum:
- Put the name of the spammer / title of the article in the subject: This way we save time checking the messages in case of a possible repetition of the report.
- If it happens that we check a spammer account that doesn't exist anymore, we edit our own message to add "gone" at the end of the subject or we answer with "gone" in the subject if it is not your own report. Sadly this is getting a bit forgotten, partially due to the automated "still alive" (checks if the links are active or dead)
- If you check and you find more articles / comments / messages from the user, we usually post it in the same thread
- Plagiarism reports should contain a link to the source being copied. Plagiarists most of the time doesn't get a second chance (we have already done it and brought nothing in 99% of the times)
- You are allowed to set a report in doubt. If you do answer to the report and make it clear in the subject. I.E. "Wait a moment" / "Not sure if..." / ...
- When in doubt / If someone has an error (nobody is perfect or know how this forum works from the beginning), be sure you summon Sean to check it up, he can delete wrong reports and / or reinstaurate accounts if needed.
- Last word is from CP Staff (mostly Sean's, Chris comes by from time to time too). If needed Sean will consult the situation with the rest of CP core team.
- If you find a lot of spammers at once, format your message making blocks of 5 to make it easier for the next reporters and limit it to 25 or 30 per message (for the people using the site in a Smart phone)
- If a report of yours get doubt messages, the user gets a second chance or it is something you are not sure... make sure the URL to the users account in your report is not a clickable link, only plain text. If not we might get false positives in the automated "Still alive" list by OriginalGriff on Sunday.
- Some articles get "tiled" (when you go to the link it is only shown as a "there is a draft version" and you can't report it), in this case summon me or any other protector (look at the badge by the nick), we can get the link to the reportable version from the list (there are some messages like this right now in the first page here)
@Sean-Ewington it could be a good idea to add this "rules" in the sticky message or do another one (with the points correctly written by a native english speaker in a more "official" way than mine)
