But, how many of y'all have helped change someone's day (or life) for the better? Whether it be a stranger or a sibling?
Be it with tech, their career, helping a fellow bro overcome his fear of women, inspiring peeps to lose weight, bringing the awesome, or just smiling to brighten someone's day even if they are poopy, whatever the case... who's the secret guardian angels up in here?
Or what about regrets where you had those moments you really wished you helped someone out but lacked the courage to? Those can be life changing too. Lord knows I have a few of those moments.

Every weekend, just about, I visit my mom and sis to help them with household chores. My mom is 95 and my sister has health problems, so it gives me a lift to be able to brighten their day.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

The reason far right scumbags stalked and threatened to kill my kids was all the time I spent helping refugees. Supported ones in our offshore prisons directly, met them locally, helped them move, taught them to drive, ran a support dinner.
I've also taken a few people into my house. One was a homeless man who became a good friend until he was a sex creep. A woman fleeing DV, my son's GF's mother.
I live in a support house to support foster kids
But the person who stays with me was a brief encounter. I was on my way to an event and I saw an old woman struggling with shopping bags. I went up and offered to help. I grabbed one bag and she struggled to grab hers so I took them both. She looked at me and said I've done nothing wrong. I said no, you have done nothing wrong and she started crying. I stood holding her in the shopping mall. Then I walked her to her bus. On the way she told me meth is the only way she copes with life. It was a pretty intense encounter.
Another time I was walking in the mall and this dude was verbally abusing his girlfriend. I stopped and loitered, determined to intervene if he touched her but not sure what to do. Another dude walked up and sat next to her and asked her how she was feeling. When the boyfriend tried to intervene he said with force, I'm not talking to you mate. He really supported her and defused the situation and I never forgot wishing I had done that.

Also, looking for something a bit deeper than staring at a girl in the mall. The whole white knight thing doesn't play out well. Side note, there are plenty of messed up chicks too. But white knights never care when it comes to guys. I wonder why.
Let me give you an example, one of my old coworkers, when I worked at Amex helped save peeps from a burning car after a car wreck. That dude was 100% a bad ass, and I'm not sure he even realized it. As far as I'm concerned, he's twice the man I am.
Props for carrying groceries though.

I'm an independent, and let me tell you, your hate is the same thing I hear on the Right. Everyone thinks they're holy and correct and hates the other camp. All I see is this hate talk. You're no better than the Right and just as brainwashed.

- I take maths classes for high school and intermediate level kids. Not without a touch of pride do I say that two of my students have been raised from 45 percent score to 90 percent score in their school maths. And are on the way to becoming independent; they now call me only for really tough problems.
- Run a YouTube channel for teaching Sanskrit for middle and high school kids. A few months more for monetization, but many kids and parents regularly give positive feedback.
- Book reading of traditional Indian scriptures, in Sanskrit language, and explanations in my own Kannada language, to a few of my classmates.
In fact it looks like 24 hours is not enough per day. There's so much work for the next hundred years, and I am nearing 60.

So my marriage of 30 years ended with my ex demanding an open marriage, cheating on me, and generally treating me like garbage. I dipped my toes in the dating waters and met lots of nice people and quite quickly, my new partner. We've lived together six months now
We are in Melbourne but I moved back from Tasmania. We've had a Hobart trip and on the weekend went to Cradle Mountain. I bought a romance package that included a dinner, breakfasts and a spa treatment that was an hour massage and 90 in in a room with a sauna and a spa bath that was exposed on the corner and open into the forest. It was amazing. My day to day life with this woman is incredible and the odd weekend like this just feels like heaven. She often says she doesn't understand how any woman left me, but we are glad she did

You do realize your story doesn't make sense right? If you're married and dating a different girl getting close... you're not monogamous. Also, if you didn't nail this chick then it's not an eye for an eye for your wife to nail some dude. It's clear none of this was a mutual choice.

Yeah so my ex always told me all women would hate me. I put myself out there to go along and expected nothing. I met someone and we had kind of a one night stand (I couldn't go through with it) and then became friends. Context made it dating but we never kissed even, we just talked a lot and I looked for a friend when my heart was breaking. But things started to shift and she noticed that. It was all very complicated and yes, none of it was my choice.
I was never nailing two chicks LOL.

I've also been in a relationship that was that dysfunctional Christian... where I couldn't go through with nailing the other chick. We were both too immature despite our age.
But, you cheated way before intercourse came up, man. And you don't see me talking about how I'm "monogamous" online from a relationship I was a d**k in. That was a messed up relationship I should've ended way before it got to that point, but I'm under no illusions about my role in screwing things up. Something to think about.

Oh I should have just left, I just lacked the self confidence. No question about that. I also started drinking 20 drinks a day in that time, I was an absolute mess and trying to keep my head above water. I barely drink nowadays. I used up all my drink cards, my kidneys are f***ed

I take medication to control my kidneys, they are at 70%.
Yeah look I think it's the autism but I just woke up one morning and realised this wasn't who I wanted to be. I still have the odd cocktail, I'm not a quivering addict on the verge of relapse

And hey I get it, I complain on here too... a lot. A lot, a lot. So, I'm a total hypocrite. But, I'm a hypocrite that's been around the block, man. And, I'm also a hypocrite that knows what it's like to be treated like an object by a chick and vice versa (back in my dumber days). The only thing this post is missing is bikini shots on a yacht.
And for peeps that think I'm saying this from a place of jealousy, Christian knows me well enough to know it's not.
