Can you give some examples of good threads that died because they got buried?

I can't think of any recent threads that would have benfited from being dragged on longer. The only places this would be relevant is in the Lounge and the Soapbox.

In the soapbox long threads quickly degenerate into flamewars and trolling.

The Lounge always works best when there are new topics of conversation rather than having long discussions on the same subject.

Just my thoughts,

Michael
