I decided to move to Canada. Though the immigration process from Belarus takes about 1.5 year to complete, I am already eager to finish it
I wonder if somebody can comment on this post.

Hey, this is a long way. I hope it will be faster than mine. It took more than 4 years to me to get an immigration visa to Canada. And now I'm very glad about my decision. Even my children like Canada after a year of living here. So, good luck!

This was a really hard day - 11 hours at work troubleshooting a multithreaded app. However, it did give me a lot of insights into the problem of domain logic model which works with a flexible persistence layer.
How about the following idea?
Why not create a persitence layer with transactional support which will not depend on MS DTC and EnterpriseServices namespace. There is a lot of marshalling involved in using DTC with managed components, and Longhorn Server (or whatever be it called) is not coming until 2006.

Today I came across the best book I've seen for ages. It is Martin Fowler's "Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture". I would suggest it for anyone interested in enterprise application developement.

Today I've spent 4 hours trying to figure out why assemblies extract correctly when embedded as resources into the executable, and images don't I almost pulled the remaining hair (3mm long when I found out that the last byte was not being extracted.

At last I started to understand the .NET delegates. I remember somebody posted in my Observer article that you either get or don't get delegates. I've joined the former group, haha Delegates provided me with one of the ways to implement callback functions in .NET. Isn't it one of their purposes?
