Deploy .Net page with Joomla application

Dear reader,

I am good in .Net but don't know much about Joomla. So I have a project where I want to deploy a ASP.Net 4.0 webpage with a Joomla Application on the web server.
I want to know the followings:

Q1: Is it possible to deploy .net webpage with joomla?
Q2: Do I need to get another web space for it and just provide a link to my asp.net webpage from joomla webpage.

Please reply what ever you know about it. I need to complete this task ASAP.

Solution 1

Yes, it is possible.
There are two options:
(a) install both Joomla and ASP web page on IIS,
(b) install Joomla on Apache and provide a link to your IIS hosted ASP web page.
