You don't say which DBMS you are using, so I can only suggest that you do an internet search for [insert name of DBMS here e.g. sqlserver] store blob data. (blob = Binary Large Object)

You can store a reference to your file in the database or store the whole file als a binairy in the database. I prefer the first solution because it's the easiest ;)
