updatepanel not working with toolkitscriptmanager

i have toolkidscriptmanager in the maseter page .im using both popupcontrolextender and updatepanel in a child page.the update panel not accepting toolkidscriptmanager it only show error that place scriptmanager.
i have search a lot but no use.please some one help me.

Where, in the Master page, have you placed the script manager control?

Solution 1

Have you placed Toolkit script manager & updatepanels in correct places?
Toolkit script manager should be placed in Body tags of Master page, and before second content place holder appears.
