What do you mean by that? what are the criteria to select sub-graph?
If you asked about plotting you would not mention graph and sub-graph.

There are lots of graph plotters... I suggest ZedGraph:
A flexible charting library for .NET[^]

Even though OP mentioned "plot", I'm note sure this is about charting at all.

Solution 2

If you want interactive graphs, you need something much richer than a normal web-based charting library. I recommend using Silverlight.
