Dear Friend,

I have heard about the website called freelancer.com. It is for doing projects online. I can choose any project and do. If I finish is with success then I can yearn money. I have created account in that website. I am receiving lots of projects based on my profile set in freelancer. But I don't know how to bid on the project. They are using a term called bid. I don't know what is it and how. Please help me if u have any experience. I have even gone through the help options. I could not. If possible explain me clearly what is it and how to proceed with this.
Thanks in advance.

I haven't gone through the website that much but from what I've seen, the bidding system might be similar to that of an auction.

Like, a person posts a project, the time span within which he/she requires it to be done and the range of payment being offered. Based on this, the registered freelancers start bidding using either points or money(I'm not sure on this) and in the end, the highest bidder gets the job.

Of course, even reputation matters a lot since satisfied customers will leave pleasing reviews on your profile page while dissatisfied ones might not be friendly enough. The next important thing is also the time span. If one bidder is offering to complete it within let's say 10 days and another offers it in 8 days, then the latter is more likely to receive the opportunity if the client needs it urgently.

This is as far as I can remember. Hope it helped you. :)
