Formatting missing when CR Report document to text

HI ,
Greeting to you all ,
I have created a Crystal Report Document which i have exported to textfile,textformated Report, using
"Crystaldecision.shared" assembly .
What actually happening is .. I have given every group shout start with a newpage. in crystal report its
working fine ,, however, when i convert to textformat , new page option is not working .. all the groups
are joined together and no spaces between groups.Please help me on this how can i get rid of this
issue.(Text Report is continuous no spaces as specified in the crystal report document).
Converting the report to textfile is for fast printing in dotmatrix printer . everything is working fine
but the formatting is missing .
Kindly help me on this .
THanks a lot in advance .. any help would be greatly appreciatable ..

Solution 1

I don't believe there is a standard implementation of a page break character in a text file, per se, in today's world. In modern operating systems there are varying uses for the character and Windows won't really see it as such.

You can use a hack like this[^], or you can write a .NET program to print the documents.

Anything can i do to programatically in the crystal report section after each group <page break> like this .. please ya .. this is the only problem i am facing now ..
