i want to run .exe file from webpage in asp.net..

i want same concept like yahoo mail click on messenger icon ...yahoo messenger exe will be run.

this will run only in IE...i want fully browser comparability....

Do you really? Start with that and do some further research - that's how it works. You could always just ask Yahoo how they do it. See how far you get.
