Well you could start with Google: http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=implement+chat-room+in+the+website[^]

It is just possible that something along these lines might have been done before, once or twice, so Google may be able to find one or two sites that show you how. Or, possibly, 9,000,000+
