Why I Cannot Open the .csproj File? VS always says it is not support?

Hello:

I download the project from ASP.NET MVC Editable DataTable (jQuery DataTables and ASP.NET MVC integration - Part II). No matter I use VS2010,2008 or 2005, the .csproj file cannot be openned. It always says "The project type is not supported by this installation"? Why? How can I do it?

Needs your project file text, at the very least to see what's in the project. Do you have a link?

Solution 1

The project probably needs a VS package that is not installed on your system. Since I have no idea what the project needs or what you have installed, my best advice is to check the project and make sure you have all the needed packages.
