fire click event for a linkbutton inside asp:calender

hi i am creating calender for events of my company.
i am using link buttons inside calender, those link buttons is created dynamically
and show the event name.
i want when i click the link button to show the details of event in same page.

i found this article

but its hard to me to understand so please i want simple solution.
