Question is not clear, please rephrase your question.

If I understand this question correctly (which is very difficult :-)), this is what I always recommend. It has nothing to do with "access" though: you can access all controls by their names (or other references, such as arrays of controls or something) regardless of the nesting of their containing controls like panels (split panels, tab panels and a lot more).
