sql query for insert values into table

hi friends i need query for insert values into tables
eg
table 'book' :i need to insert 4 column values
values are typed by user page that values check two table(detail,root) if condition true then the 4 values should insert into book table

Solution 1

If you are inserting a record, you need to insert into all the columns (unless you have defaults on some of them).
You cannot insert into a subset of table columns.
