Hi how do i replace and existing image<binary> in database using detailsview.
uploading the image files in database code is working fine.

Solution 1

I suggest you try and use the formview control so that you can define your own template and probably add a Fileupload control to it, and then you can get the file uploaded and make your change, you can search msdn if you have no prior knowledge of how to use formview
