checkbox validations from another page when dropdown item selected

On one page,i am creating items.those items are checked when they are digital or not.
On the other page(pop-up),i am having a dropdown list items bounding from database.when an item is selected,i want the checkbox should be checked automatically according to digital or not.Could any one help me out?
