How to communicate between ip address and gsm/gprs modem ?

I am working on a project in which i want to send some information from a GSM/GPRS modem kit to Server (windows azure).

To the best i know i need to communicate using http POST and GET methods between my Modem and website at server.
also i have used this codeproject tutorial to communicate from one GSM sim to another : Send and Read SMS through a GSM Modem using AT Commands[^]

but i am not able to withdraw much success.


And this time what i want is to communicate from Modem to Website at Server.
But i don't have any idea of how can i further do that ?
Please guide me any code sample or tutorial.
