User Control Form Image Property

I realize that the user control form doesn't have an image property, but i was wanting to make one with an image property.

In the old VB6 program, the picturebox control could be used as a container for other controls, and this is mainly why i want to make one.

Since the user control is a container to, i'd also like to be able to put images on it and do processing of the image to.

I know the user control has a background image property but i can't work with that image at all.

I'd also like the new picturebox control to have a hdc and an auto-redraw property.

I'm not asking anyone to make this for me, but i was wondering if there is already some code floating around here, showing how this is done.
