Solution 2

Google deprecated 'Google Web Search API' officially as of November 1, 2010. As per them, it will continue to work under their deprecation policy, and the number of requests per day will be limited.

Instead, Google is encouraging to move to the new Custom Search API: Custom Search API[^]
