pls urgent help needed: Executing backup and restore of sharepoint applications through batch files

hi...my situation is like i've taken backup of my sharepoint application and able to restore it on another machine by placing the backup folder in target machine and then through powershell commands. i'm able to do all these by placing powershell commands in notepad and saving it as (.bat)batch files. but after restoring it on target machine i want the backup folder placed in target machine to be deleted from target/client machine.

how do i do it? is there any commands to be added for that in batch files or can u pls help me with some links for that...

any response is well appreciated..........Thanks in advance
