No coder question. How to ask for a project?

Hi everyone. I'm a non-coder with a project in mind. I would like to automate a function that is currently available on the ChatGPT web interface: uploading a few photos and extracting the information and answers to specific questions. Unfortunately, I see this as being out of my league. What should one do in such cases? Should I post the job online? Contact a local company? Or post the project somewhere else? Thanks in advance!

When answering a question please:

Understand that English isn't everyone's first language so be lenient of bad spelling and grammar.
If a question is poorly phrased then either ask for clarification, ignore it, or edit the question and fix the problem. Insults are not welcome.
Don't tell someone to read the manual. Chances are they have and don't get it. Provide an answer or move on to the next question.

You are probably going to have to pay for a developer to do it for you, or learn to become a competent developer - which is a long-timescale mission!

Paying a developer is shorter timescale, once you have found a suitable one: freelancer.com will find you many. But ... be aware that you get what you pay for: pay peanuts, get monkeys! Take up and check references, etc. - you know the drill.

Before you spend money on a coder for hire, make sure you fully understand what your requirements are. I have lost count of the number of times that I have heard of people getting code built from something like fiverr, and complaining about it not doing what they want. It might not be what you want, but the code is probably what you asked for. A good professional is normally going to ask probing questions to determine what you really want, and to get you to clarify things for them. A cheap freelancer is going to give you, at most, exactly what you asked for (all too often you don't even get that much).

Yes, those are two possibilities. Beyond that there is nothing more that can be suggested, as this is a technical forum, not a job search one.
