You can get some information (which purports to be the location) by using one of the many IP address location services out there (google can find a few for you, but here is one to start with:

^] but be aware that it may not be at all accurate - it depends on the ISP and since most of these use dynamic address allocation if the block associated with that physical area is used up, one will be allocated from a different address block. I have seen mine come up with England, Germany, Holland and so forth in the past, all with the same ISP.
