You obviously have used asp. Forget everything you have done before. Trying to use ASP.NET as if it was asp, is the same as trying to use a car as if it was a push bike. If you push your car around, you will get there eventually, but you're not using the tools at your disposal. You don't do that, because ASP.NET is a real, object oriented, well designed framework. You create controls and place them on your page if you want to, otherwise you don't import anything.
