Interact with another applications

i want to write a program that interact(like can close, minimize, etc...) with different application program like MS word , but it fail.

can I get a help ?

The only ways to do this are COM ( if the app, like Word does, supports a COM interface ), trying to control it by sending WM_ messages ( which is dodgy as hell ), or some other sort of inter process method where the host program has been written and designed to be interacted with.

Your question is nonsense, because you don't give us any clue what is failing. What have you tried ?
