Difference between Dependency and Attached property in WPF

The question about "difference" is incorrect. How can anyone tell the "difference", especially when, according to MSDN, "most of the attached properties that exist on WPF types that are related to UI presentation are implemented as dependency properties".

This is the same as to ask how Diesel engine is different from internal combustion engine.

And why would you think that a quick answer written specially for you should be better then thoroughly written articles? Nothing can replace reading of the manuals and reference material.

Please see my comments to the question, which does not make a whole lot of sense.

What's wrong with just reading MSDN? Please see:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms752914(v=vs.110).aspx[^],
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms749011%28v=vs.110%29.aspx[^].
