Hi ALL,
I have a huge table it contains millions of records for daily some insertions is occured.I have to maintain six months of data it means my table is very big that's why am thinking table is partition on different filegroup but i have no idea.Can you please let me know..

Thank you.Wht i am seeing above linke is a static partition in the given. i have to create a dynamic partition in sql server based on daterange or any id column...Can you please let me know if u have any idea..

I'm not sure what you mean. You need to create separate tables and then use an updateable view.
