Maximum integer value in oracle table column

Hi All,

I am working on Oracle backend with c#.net.
I have one table column which is having varchar2 column contains values like

ab2
123
45
vbgt

In above rows i need Maximum integer ie., 123
I need for this query in Oracle.

I have production. its urgent.

Solution 1

Your column contains strings, and not all of them can be cast to integers. I see no reasonable method for performing the task described, given the data you've provided.
